Today was a day full of meetings! At common hour I had to attend the Honors Program meeting, there were two choices for the trip next semester. It is either Boston or Charleston. Then at 6pm I attended the SIP (Sophomore Initiative Program) Workshop "Love your Money- Finding Scholarships and Grants". they had a woman from Financial Aid come and talk and then a man from Citizens Bank gave a talk. I learned a lot about credit reports and credit scores. Then I took my floor to the Building Bridges meeting at 7:30 in the Alumni House! It was a very good meeting, we asked the question, why are we as a society split up and divided!! I think it is because most people are just afraid to leave their comfort zone and are afraid of what others might think! So what do you guys think about that question?!?
Is anyone else swamped with meetings and clubs?

I totally agree with your response to that question! I walk around campus wondering the same thing because I see a lot of the "same" people walking around in groups. I myself am part of that group who stays in their comfort zone but I think people should start to broaden their group of people who they communicate with.
ReplyDeleteI also agree with your statement. People are afraid to leave their comfort zones. Being aware of ethnic diversity is important in our society. Also, people usually form groups based on their ethnic backgrounds or similar interests. This might be the cause of seeing such groups hanging out with each other. People need to leave their comfort zones and make friends with everyone and not based on someone's color, sex, or anything.
